Sians. Here I am at the hotel, Tan Min Danh 2 at District 1, the supposedly more 'city' area. But, there's like no shopping area here sucks =( i have been here for 2 days and i only managed to get pet shop stuff =.=
Arrived here on 16th may, checked in hotel andddd. the lift broke down =.= our rooms were on the 10th floor + 2 cause they have the ground floor and some other floor. hung around, wasted time to wait for the lift to be repaired. Finally, the lift was repaired after like 1 hour. went up to the rooms and came down to gather. Went to the Ben Thanh Market to play treasure hunt =.= didn't even managed to do anything shopping due to the time contrain of an hour. sianz. Ben Thanh is suppposed to be a good shopping place lo =( went back hotel change and got ready for dinner. had some seafood dinner that i didn't enjoy =(
after that, went back to hotel like 11+ already in other words 12 + in singapore.
second day woke up early went for breakfast. gather at 8 for tour. went to cu chi tunnel. went through the modified tunnel. quite cool but super hot inside. Anyway, Cu chi tunnel is the tunnel that the vietnamese dug during the Vietnam War to hide from the Americans, they set super cool/deadly trap using those bamboos =X scary. anyway the tunnel is super cramped. i had to squat and slide through (cause i didnt want to crawl) but it's a modified to be a bigger one. wonder how they survived during the war. After that went to some good place for lunch. quite nice cause it's ex. i think it amounted to US$500+ for 30 people? lol. After lunch, proceeded to the War museum, rather boring. zzz. then we visited some other photo-taking places of attraction and went to tax department shopping mall. got the nice coffee powder and cheap stuff at pet shop. a bag cost about S$6-12. cheap hor. after that went back to hotel area to eat dinner.
Hope to get more shopping soon =(, if not, i'll be super disappointed. goodnites people
